I started a blog to keep track of the projects that I'm working on and to write a couple of articles to help my colleagues in solving the day to day issues that we face at work, check it out

My own domain: marno.org finally
!On the 21st of October I finally registered a 'real' domain-name: marno.org! I had been using the services of dyndns.com (which offers host names for dynamic ip's) for years but decided it was worth the 7 euro's for a real domain. I registered it at TransIP.nl because they offer very good DNS management. The experience I've had with support has been good so far (fast response and excellent help). If you're looking for a domain definitely check them out!
Encryption Method: Scramble
Introducing the worlds safest encryption method: Scramble! This is a simple encryption method I developed that seems to be pretty effective. Still; don't use this for data that is important

Decimal to Binary conversion PHP
.The shortest implementation of a decimal to binary converter implemented in PHP, without making use of decbin() off course. If you know of a shorter implementation (that also works without a maximum value) then please tell me so.
Linux Scripts by Marno!
Contains some scripts I wrote over the past few years. Please note that they may ruin your pc, your life, your dogs, your backups, your house, or whatever... it's NOT my problem, and I will probably laugh my ass off when I hear about it. I provide these scripts as is. They have worked for me, and I hope they will for you. That said: have fun!

This was my old website hosted on my first server. It ran slackware linux and it was used in 2003 and 2004. It was too slow to run php
. Still, I learned a lot from this server as it was my first server.
My Old Website v2.0
. Still, I learned a lot from this server as it was my first server. This was my old website hosted on my 2nd and 3th server. The 3th server was fast enough to run PHP, so I added some PHP into this site. It's pretty basic, but it's HTML 4.0 Transitional (although the source is a mess). This site was a pain to administer; adding content had to happen in the index.php file itself, so you can imagine that I didn't update it too often. I developed the design myself in 2005. This website had been running from 2004 till the beginning of 2006.
This all changed in April 2006; I rewrote the whole site from scratch, this time using a database-backend. MySQL, combined with my custom CMS (also written from scratch) makes the current version easy to administer, and it looks much better. This version is also valid XHTML1.1 and CSS2.

End Of World requires flash
This movie is pretty fun. It's a... 'different' view on how the world will end.
All Your Base Are Belong To Us requires flash
All your base are belong to us! (sometimes referred to as "All Your Base" or abbreviated AYBABTU or simply AYB) is a phrase that sparked an Internet phenomenon that occurred in 2001 and 2002. The phenomenon initially took the form of the sentence appearing on the Something Awful Forums. Many images were digitally altered so that the phrase was added in, either obviously or discreetly.
Switch to Linux! requires flash
